Kayaker Rescued from Charles River in Waltham

Saved by the Jacket

A man was rescued from the Charles River in Waltham after he fell from his kayak into the water. No injuries were reported. Deputy Fire Chief Randy Mullin said the man was conscious the entire time and was wearing a life jacket.
