Deputy Shares Story of Harrowing Rescue on the Colorado River

Saved by the Jacket
With 10 years experience as a Marine Corps instructor trainer of water survival, “Deputy Stuck” took off his vest, put on a life jacket and, in uniform and without a wetsuit, jumped into to the river after a woman, both uninjured, but both had to be transported to the hospital to be treated for exposure after the ordeal.
