As families are gearing up for the summer boating season, we are celebrating another successful Wear Your Life Jacket to Work Day! Boaters around the world – and some of their favorite pets – proudly wore their life jackets to work on Friday, May 18, sharing important boating safety advice with their friends, family and communities.
Participants shared photos while at work in their life jackets with #lifejacket2work – and it turns out that #safeboating looks good on everyone! Friends of the campaign like the U.S. Coast Guard, National Weather Service, and many others worldwide, including Japan, helped remind boaters to make responsible decisions every time they hit the water.

The fun is far from over! We’ll host our second Ready, Set, Wear It Life Jacket World Record Day event on Saturday, June 9.
