Coast Guard Rescues Stranded Boater near Aripeka

Saved by the Jacket

A 55-year old man was rescued by the Coast Guard around 2:25am after his boat ran aground and the man was stranded approximately one mile west of Aripeka. No injuries were reported and the man was wearing a life jacket and was also equipped with a flare and a spot light.
