Coast Guard Helps Overturned Kayaker

Saved by the Jacket

A Coast Guard boat crew from Station Oregon Inlet assisted a kayaker who overturned and had broken his paddle off Colington Harbour. The crew responded to the eastern end of the Albemarle Sound where they sighted the man, who was wearing a life jacket, and was clinging to the kayak.
